![]() Certain elements will be found in all Clearaudio turntables. They include the inverted bearing made of bronze, brass and hardened steel. Motors are decoupled and shielded to eliminate any negative impact of the motor on the turntable's chassis and thus the cartridge. Consequently, we they guarantee that all Clearaudio turntables will run smoothly, without wow or flutter.
The Master Reference is a small miracle of mechanical science - and yet, it is more than that: to be a true masterpiece, it had to be designed and crafted with true devotion. Beyond beauty and precision engineering, it is something else: passion. Three stand-clone motors supply power to the platter evenly and ensure extremely low wow and flutter figures. The resonance-minimizing form of the Master Reference ensures absolute mechanical quietness. The precision-turned silicon/acrylic platter rests on an inverted bearing made of bronze and hardened steel, guaranteeing a long and trouble-free life. The Master Reference accepts up to three tonearms at one time.
Beauty in design, high quality materials and resonance-avoiding construction have won Clearaudio international acclaim as one of the premier manufacturers of analogue products. Hi-fi magazines all over the world have found our turntables have set the standard for which analogue replay should be measured.
It took years of research and development to create a world-class design like the Master Reference. Naturally, the knowledge and experience we gained from this project have also been applied to our more affordable turntables. The Solution, the smallest turntable in Clearaudio's range features a simple yet unusual and futuristic design with a number of clever technological details. It does not limit its owner's creativity: up to three different tonearms can be mounted. The design of the Evolution turntable is more traditional. Clearaudio turntables harmoniously combine mechanical perfection, beauty and individuality

A turntable should not have a sound of its own. In keeping with this philosophy, painstaking research and development led to a combination of exquisite materials for the construction of the Clearaudio line. This is true for their entry-level model, the Solution, as much as for our Master Reference top model. Through optimizing the form and layout of all chassis, they minimize resonances and ensure unpolluted sound, even when you really turn up the wick. Clearaudio supplies a number of tonearm mounting boards; besides their successful parallel-tracking tonearms, all pivoted designs can be used without any problems which allows the owner complete freedom of choice. Clearaudio's New Line
From Clearaudio Only Clearaudio Moving-Coil (MC) cartridges have a complete symmetrical design: mechanically, magnetically and electrically - achieved by Clearaudio Tolerance Field Technology. Almost immeasurable by any method other than the listening test (the most critical), Clearaudio found that the actual cartridge housing material can in fact be the final and most critical element in achieving ultimate resolution and inner detail. The result of this research - the Clearaudio-RF-Technic. Clearaudio cartridges achieve their exceptional performance with innovative design and advanced materials. All cartridges share the some basic layout featuring Clearaudio's patented Series Coil System, with coils mounted symmetrically in front and behind the cantilever Pivot.
Amplifying the delicate output of an MC cartridge is a formidable technological challenge. An immense voltage gain must be achieved, without polluting the signal with hum, noise and distortion. The phono stage must meet extremely demanding requirements. The slightest degration of the signal will impair the listening enjoyment. To exploit the full potential of analog music reproduction, Clearaudio has introduced the Symphono, the PPA 9 and the Reference Phonostage.
The components which go into a Reference Phonostage have been chosen after a long measurement and auditioning program. They are of the Finest quality, rigorously selected and hand-matched. The result is, in a word, fantastic: transparency and illumination like you have never heard from a record before.

The PPA-9 and the Symphono There are two more affordable models in the Clearaudio range. The PPA 9 pre-preamp and the Symphono phono stage. Both will allow the music lover to enter the realm of analog high end at a lower cost. Like every Clearaudio product, they will open the door to pure musical bliss. Technical information

The SILVER-LINE Cable, with its 5-times shielded, patented design, guarantees constant flow of information with a performance of nearly 70% of the speed of light. To compensate for inconsistent socket-dimensions, the MPC-Plug is fitted out with self adapting contact springs. The Clearaudio MPC-Plug is of course manufactured out of non-magnetic material. Further special merits of this PROFI plug: direct 24-carat gold plating Clearaudio procedure without any magnetic nickel layer and extremely low contact resistance that remains the same after a high number of insertions (less than 0.00009K2).
