SPHÄRON "EXCALIBUR”

Developed from the "classical" Sphäron, the new Excalibur is raising to a new standard of dimension and variability. In consideration of the fact that the former Sphäron had to be combined with a 12m2 horn unit for transmission of the lowest frequencies, the new Excalibur now can easily be integrated into living rooms having a minimum size of 40m2. Two towering pillars with four huge 15 inches woofers for each unit now are taking over the part of the low frequency horn unit.

This loudspeaker system has no limits: with a 15 watt power already, music will be reproduced three-dimensional, thus giving you the illusion to be a member of the orchestra or the band. From the softest, perceptible sounds, these loudspeaker sculptures can accelerate the music like lightning, comparable only with the spurt of a racing car.

When the music is soft, the sounds caress your skin. When it changes into a powerful fortissimo, the listener will be swept away to the epitome of joy.

CAMPANILE

Acapella Campanile is a sealed 3.5-way loudspeaker system. Four 25 cm woofers are working in separate chambers and cannot influence each other. Fine adjustments to the ion tweeter and the midrange horn unit can be made in order to adapt the loudspeaker to every acoustical environment.  From a solo wind instrument to ensemble of a symphony orchestra with conviction the Campanile speaker system will bring you that much closer to the real experience with their exceptional depth and dynamics.

VIOLONCELLO
The extension of Acapella’s Violon 1 to Violoncello corresponds to a long tradition of Acapella. Twenty years ago already, Acapella designed and manufactured loudspeaker systems which can be extended. The new design allows Violon 1 owners  the extension to Violoncello by adding a second woofer unit. and achieves  3dBs more total dynamics.

VIOLON 1
Acapella Violon 1 is an open 3-way-system.The dynamics of the 25 cm woofer have been adapted to the speed of the mid-range horn unit and the ion tweeter. The used ion tweeter today is the fastest high frequency transmission system of the world. It is operating without any mass and the upper range of the high frequencies can only be limited by the manufacturer. Bandwidth normally is adjusted to 40kHz approx. This extraordinary bandwidth is providing an extremely precise reproduction of any kind of music. Even in the lowest frequencies you can feel exact modulation of the overtones. Fine adjustments to the ion tweeter and the midrange horn unit can be made in order to adapt the loudspeaker to every acoustical environment.

 

FORTÜNE

Acapella Fortüne is a 2,5-way loudspeaker. One of the two woofers is designed to reproduce mid-frequencies as well. The innovative crossover has been put on end and is mounted on a board at the base of the loudspeaker allowing for improved sonic qualities. Because of the extensive phase correction, no bi-wiring is available. "Fortüne represents an ingenious loudspeaker conception, designed for absolute precision of sound reproduction. Precision takes priority over the reproduction of the lowest frequencies and possible compromises regarding various listening habits."

FIDELIO
Stand mounted loudspeaker, cabinet with a real wood veneer and cherry wood design. Stiff sheets of metal are screwed together and form the back in order to avoid vibrations. Interior wiring is hand-soldered.

Acapella bases "Fondato Silenzio"

The  Acapella bases "Fondato Silenzio" will reduce and even eliminate the effects electromagnetic vibrations to optimize the sonic performance of your system. Due to the reduced electromagnetic distortions, sound reproduction of your components will be more lively, more three-dimensional, cleaner and, at low volumes, much more transparent and holographic.

Begin to optimize performance with the amplifier(s) first, followed by the preamp and the CD-player or CD transport last. A positive effect is also given when you use "Fondato Silenzio" as the bases for your loudspeakers.

KQD 
A sophisticated Integrated Hi-Fi system consisting of amplifier (King), CD/Tuner combination (Queen) and loudspeakers (Duke)


The Technology:   A great deal of effort went into the design of the components. The amplifier p.e. has been integrated into a dust-free casting and the diaphragms of the drivers are made from carbon fiber. The electronic equipment of the amplifier and CD/Tuner combination received a special design, assuming a natural sound reproduction. CD drive is a recent development from Philips, power supply, power amplifier and the rest of the electronic equipment including the D/A converter are specifically manufactured to Acapella standards.  All casings including those of the remote control, are manufactured in aluminum to the exact specifications by Acapella.  

The Loudspeakers: Not only the formal principle, but also the sonic qualities will convince you. KQD can easily bear comparison with separate components from various manufacturers. The most impressive thing of KQD is the small size of the loudspeakers. Acapella is working mainly on the production of high-quality loudspeakers for which you would have to pay a ten times higher amount than the price of this system.  After a long period of development with several prototypes they successfully developed a loudspeaker with a volume of only six litres which is able to reproduce any sound imaginable.  This reproduction can be more perfect and impressive than the sound of other large loudspeakers.

The components will be shipped in a precision wooden case. The whole system comes with all necessary cables. Placement and interconnection of the components do not need too much dexterity: the loudspeaker cables are equipped with locking plugs which will guarantee correct polarity. All components come with adequate sockets. Interconnection of King and Queen will be very easy for you. The symbols of the remote control are kept in a highly imaginative style for ease of use.
